Coccinelle class welcomes Key Stage 1 children who do not understand or speak Italian language. Italian is taught as a foreign language. Class is in Italian with some English to allow children to understand instructions. In this course, children will learn the basics of Italian conversation, how to greet and introduce themselves, they will learn vocabulary of familiar contexts such as family and school. Pupils will also learn the basics of the syllabic system to allow them to start reading and pronouncing correctly a few words.
